History in the making.

Performance fabrics built on more than 200 years of expertise in process manufacturing.

Expanding a Manufacturing Legacy

Advanced Fabrics emerged as a division of AstenJohnson in 1901, integrating the company's longstanding woven belt expertise with deep manufacturing knowledge of pulp manufacturing processes. Today, our global expertise extends to nonwovens and industrial filtration, and our specialized team of experts supply products for all web processing needs, including a full line of high performance forming, drying, conveying, dewatering and bonding fabrics.

Further, our portfolio supplies conveyer and filtration products for many other industrial applications, such as board manufacturing, wastewater treatment, food & beverage production and mining. Marked by innovations like MonoZip seam technology, Advanced Fabrics drives manufacturing processes across industries and around the world.

A Diverse Portfolio Built on a Century of Experience.

Formed in 1901, Advanced Fabrics emerged as an independent division of AstenJohnson corporate, to respond to growing needs for specialized pulp expertise amongst our legacy paper-making customers of the era. Years later, we still maintain this group of expert personnel entirely dedicated to developing and delivering the high-performance needs of our pulp manufacturing.

Today, our passion for quality process manufacturing has also enabled our growth as a leading global supplier to the nonwovens and industrial filtrations industries. Our experts at Advanced Fabrics supply products for all web processing needs, including a full line of high performance forming, drying, conveying, dewatering and bonding fabrics.
